Pattern Description:
Misses' pullover top with bodice and sleeve variations and optional ruffle details. I made view E. Pattern Sizing:
I used a fabric with stretch and this pattern has a lot of ease (5") so my measurements said a 14 but I cut a 10 and it fits perfectly. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, but since I didn't use the recommended fabric the drape is quite different, and I can't get the collar to lay quite like the photo. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, but it is an easy straight forward construction. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the pleat in the back, I thought that was a nice touch and the construction of the front. Actually I like everything about this pattern. This shirt is fast becoming my favourite. Fabric Used:
Rayon jersey in a geometric green, black and white print Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't use facings. This fabric is not transparent at all and is quite heavy for the design so I didn't want to add more. I finished the neck by understitching it to the bodice. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I already bought fabric to make it again. I like it in stretch but I think a light flowy fabric would be nice. I'd also like the try the other variations.
