Pattern Description: Close-fitting pants have elastic waist, three construction methods in knee area, back yoke/pockets and stitched hems
Pattern Sizing:Misses 16 - 24
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?mine didn't look like the pattern envelope or the drawing. The picture on the envelope made me think these pants were almost leggings, but they are actually more like the written description. This may be in part because I made the size 22 and the model appears to be a 6. This was a good thing for me as I wanted pants not leggings.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy to follow, although I did not include all the design elements if my test pair.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? These pants are exactly what I hoped they would be. Close fitting, straight leg, but not tight.
Fabric Used:Rayon Ponte Knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I folded the knee pleats out on the front leg and taped the back upper and lower leg together before cutting as this first pair will be a wearable muslin. After sewing these up, I recut the back yoke and added a 1 inch wedge to accommodate my full rear. I also took two inches out of the top of the yoke piece tapering to nothing at the bottom to accommodate my swayback. I added a 5/8" wedge to the back crotch curve and reduced the front crotch by 1 inch for tilted waist. All of the these adjustments are my usual pants adjustments. I left off the pockets.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I really wanted to love these pants, but after the second pair, the style is just not for my body type. I do recommend the pattern, just not for me.
Conclusion: This is probably a good pattern for a slimmer person. |

Your Pattern Rating and "Would you sew it again" are greatly at odds! From your review, this pattern sounds good, but... Am I missing something?

You caught me! I started this review while making my first pair and I really loved the pattern. After the second pair I realized that they don't look good on my short stumpy legs. Thanks for pointing that out. I failed to read it through before hitting the button to publish.
