The shorts turned out very well. I really liked how the surfer ones looked. This might be a good pattern to stash for the men in the family. My oldest gs will soon hit the men's small size so I think I will pick this one up. Thanks.

I love the shorts especially the surfer one's, my husband has just asked me to make him some shorts for our holiday (incidentally the same pattern) and although I have 5 months I'm already planning them. The thing is I don't normally use Burda patterns as I am a New Look girl myself and I don't know if Burda patterns typically run big, small or true-to-size?? Basically my husband is not a small man so I know I will either be doing the largest size or grading up and was wondering if someone could help in regards to ease? I will no doubt be making a muslin first but I thought I might as well ask before making shorts fit for an infant and embarrassing him! Thank you in advance for any advice you may have x
