| Pattern Description: Simple sleeveless dress.
Pattern Sizing: 6- 16. I made the size 10 (four sizes smaller than my bust measurements suggested!)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, although they'd used a border print and I didn't.
Were the instructions easy to follow? I have the English version of this book. The words are sparse, but the diagrams are very helpful.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This is a perfect loose dress for our Australian summer. I also like the gathered neckline detail. Sometimes the simple things are the best!
Fabric Used: Cotton
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made three changes to the pattern:
1. The bust darts were lowered by 1 inch
2. The dress was shortened by 2.5 inches to my preferred length
3. I added shoulder darts as the back neckline was gaping
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I have some lovely Japanese cotton set aside to make another. I've been wearing this dress all afternoon and it's really comfortable, so I suspect I'll have made another version before the end of summer!
Conclusion: A simple dress for hot summer days. I would recommend that you do a muslin to test the sizing and the fit before cutting into any precious fabric. More photos and information on my blog.

I have this book and have already traced and cut this pattern. Your pretty version has given me the incentive to get it done. Thanks for the review.
