Pattern Description:
From the pattern envelope: "Pullover dress has close-fitting, self-lined bodice, raised waist, seamed skirt, stitched hem and invisible side zipper."
This version I made does not have the zipper.
Pattern Sizing:
Multi-sized pattern B5 (8-16) and F5 (16-24)
I made the skirt portion in a size 14 or the bodice in a size 12.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were excellent.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the comfort and unique design of this dress. There are no dislikes.
Fabric Used:
I used a crepe knit. It curled like crazy and was an absolute pain in the knee to sew but it was worth the time. I love the fabric and the weight and it turned out lovely.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did shorten the dress and left out the zipper. I also made the bodice a size smaller than the first version I made.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I probably would not sew another one for myself because this is the second one sitting in my wardrobe. I would however recommend this pattern to others. It is cherished as one of my favourites.
