Michelle, I have waited so long for someone to review this pattern before I make it. I have and now that I have read your positive review, I am thinking about making mine also. Thanks!

I also made it and enjoy it. I sewed a washer to the facing as she recommended to improve drape of the cowl and found the lingerie guards she recommends to an important addition.

Thanks for the review of this pattern. I especially appreciate your giving your size variations. I bought the pattern and will need to do similar grading. What kind of knit did you use? This is giving me the courage I need to get brave and just do it!

Bonnie, don't hesitate to try this dress! I used an inexpensive cotton/poly knit that is similar in hand to rayon knits. I have been choosing patterns that offer sophisticated design, but ease of construction because of limited time. This pattern works well. You may want to cut out and sew the bodice before the skirt to check for length alterations. Because of the assymetrical design I found that this way of checking length worked for me best.
