Pattern Description:
Basic turtleneck with set in sleeves, shaping through the waist, high turtlneck in two finished lengths
Pattern Sizing:
36 - 42
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes... althought the editorial photo for these are kind of useless
Were the instructions easy to follow?
So simple! I barely followed the directions.
Unlike most, I finish my knits with a small zig zag stitch instead of a twin needle.
I also made a one inch dartless FBA and a swayback adjustment.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the shaping through the waist, the longer length in version B (three inch length difference from A) and the superhigh / tall turtleneck.
Fabric Used:
I made two versions. One from a grey stripe sweater knit and a solid black in a rayon doubleknit. Both were purchased during PR Weekend in Montreal.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Zero!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes! These are longer and I'm wearing them mostly layered. But, I would like shorter versions of A to wear as tops and to layer too.
Conclusion:
Basic turtleneck that I'm getting lots of mileage from. More photos and vamping on my blog, Miss Celie's Pants
