From Envelope: This is a great style of top that will quickly become a staple in your wardrobe and is very EASY to sew! One pattern offers many design options including:
3 different collars offer 4 different looks sleeve options including short, three quarter, and long 2 ruching options for the body Pattern Sizing:
XXS-XL Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Not exactly - this is one of the versions for the One Pattern, Many Looks contest Were the instructions easy to follow?
very and includes extra tips What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love everything about this pattern, and nominated it for best of 2012. Fabric Used:
VERSION 2: midweight polar fleece from Joanne's
left sides seams open a few inches and top stitched the SA down, reversed collar so that seam was at CF and sewed each side of collar together with narrow seam then overlapped the edges about an inch - no drafting changes to either collar or neckline. Collar can be worn several ways - open, doubled to inside, doubled to outside - the great thing about fleece is that it sticks to itself so no fasteners necessary! Left an opening in the lower sleeve for thumb holes then top stitched the SA, simple turned hem at cuff edge. This is not a running shirt, too hot for that, but I know what I'm going to do to make one now. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Let's see - this is the 4th time I've made this, and am planning 2 more versions for the contest. I've also challenged myself to create a variant of this pattern every month this year. You need this pattern! Conclusion:
First fleece project! collar folded to outside collar folded to inside V2 back

It looks fabulous. I love the collar variations. Did you draft that, or is that in the pattern?

Such an awesome collar!

I bet that top is snuggly warm to wear. The collar variations would be very useful in cold weather.

Okay, you can make changes and I can't even understand how you did it!!! My little variations to a pattern are so small compared to the changes you make. Good artistic vision and the color is great.

This looks great. I will be motivated to sew this top.
