Pattern Description:
Pencil Skirt from 'Gerties new book for better sewing' with modifications. Pattern Sizing:
has its own unique sizing. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Nope. Coz I changed it significantly. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yep. As I'd made this before I didn't really read them. Very simple. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Its simple to put together and easy to modify to make different skirt styles. Fabric Used:
100% cotton and poly cotton Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made the 'high waist' straight rather than sloped. added godets to the skirt. cut front skirt piece not on the fold. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yep. This is 2nd time and will not be the last. Conclusion:
versatile pattern, very handy as a 'sloper' to make other styles.
