Very striking. I love the way you have played with colours, textures and shapes. I agree the length of the coat would be better balnced with a more generous collar.

Ha! unique and certainly not RTW. I agree with you about the collar shape, esp with your added fabric design. The back is very striking, though, with the collar turned up.

When I looked at the photo of the pattern, I thought booorrring! But then I looked at your garment! How did you see such a great coat in such a mediocre pattern? And the new collar - you lowered the neckline as well? Fantastic!

Londa, I wish I had one tenth of your creativity! This came out beautifully. I liked the first collar just fine - at least in the photo it did not look homemade. That said, I think the new collar is even better than the one out of the envelope.

Londa, I think the time you spent on re-drafting the collar was Very Well Spent! Now, the scale is perfect! Thank you for showing us that "quick & easy" is what darn well nearly killed the home-sewing industry! (that, of course, is MNVHO! 8^D)
