Toy story alien fleece/minky pillow case. Tired of having to wash my son’s pillow pet that he sleep with every night. The Pillow Pet had to go! I wanted to find something a lot more easy to clean. I used rectangles of minky for the head and fleece for the body. The eyes were three ovals that were double layered flannel which were stitched right sides together then turned inside out by cutting a slit in the side that was the back. Appliqued white ovals with a blanket stitch for eyes and mouth and satin stitched a smile. The back fleece overlaps and has a snap on the back. Head is minky and body is fleece. Ears have quilt batting and antenna has polyfill stuffed inside. He loves it!

	sewnotwork said... Very easy. Also once you have the idea of what to appliqu� it is easy to do a pillow with flowers or a different character. Going to make one for daughter who is disappointed she didn't get this one. 1/11/13 4:02 PM
