Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I didn't realize until I made the shirt that the front button piece was was not it's own piece. I would have liked a separate one.
Fabric Used:Dheap cotton poly that pilled in the wash and I went ahead anyways. Stupid.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added length to the sleeves - about and inch and a half...and they just fit.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I liked this shirt but I find it snug around the collar. Given that and the button piece, I will likely try another shirt pattern before doing this one again.
Conclusion: This is the first piece of clothing I have made DH. He likes it but points out he already has the exact same fabric shirt in his closet. I'll be a monkey's uncle, he does!

Mazzygirl said... looks good, despite the cheap fabric...... if you make it again & the only issue was a tight collar, just use the larger size collar & band, trimming the neckline a few mm to accomodate.... make him a floral shirt next time too, so that he won't say he has another one just like it! really nice shirt anyways ;-) 1/11/13 7:14 PM
