Pattern Description:
The back of the envelope says, "Misses' Seven Sizes in One."
The pattern is for a pullover top designed for wovens. I would call the styling "modified peasant blouse" but rather than raglan sleeves, a sleeveless option is provided as well as set-in sleeves that vary in length from short flutter sleeves to long sleeves gathered at the wrist.
The armhole and neckline edges are finished with a reverse bias band. (By this I mean the bias band is sewn on the wrong side of the blouse and folded toward the right side and topstitched by stitching in the ditch.)

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I finally understood how to sew the neckline/tie binding but I did have trouble applying the lower hem band of View E. On this top I actually did it incorrectly. It wasn't until my 4th time sewing this top that it dawned on me what was intended, but I'm pretty sure this is all on me, not the pattern.
What I did with View E was attach the lower hem band in the same way I did the reverse bias binding. I the right side of the band to the wrong side of the top at the hemline. I then turned out that bias band and folded it in half. I kept thinking something was wrong becase of the shape and the fact there was no foldline on the pattern piece. Then the lower band was shorter than I expected. At this time it did not occur to me I was doing the wrong thing.
The right thing, I believe, is to sew the band on as described above and then turn it at the seamline to the outside. I won't figure that out until two more versions, however!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I absolutely love this pattern and I think part of it is it reminds me of a top I used to wear in my early 20s ( a long time ago). I like the size range of the pattern and the many sleeve options it offers although I haven't quite managed the nerve to do a sleeve on a woven yet.
Fabric Used:
I used an inexpensive cotton/poly blend eyelet from Walmart. I purchased it several years ago to make a tiered skirt and there was some yardage left over. Although it isn't as glamorous as some eyelets, it makes up for that by being a very easy care fabric.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I reduced the drop of the straps (shortened them) front and back; raised the neckline a bit more, and also raised the vee slit at the neckline a little. I lengthened the tie at the neck, too.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
This is a very nice pattern and since it's the OPML contest I did sew it again. I do recommend this pattern but I think the New Looks, in general, are a little elongated and have a lot of ease so you will want to watch for that. I see this same elongation in Kwik Sew patterns, so the armhole opening is almost always too long, and the rise in pants is too long. I do believe, however, that in addition to this elongation there is also more ease than in a similar Kwik Sew pattern. I'm limited in my experience, but this is my overall impression at this time.
Conclusion:
I really love this pattern. My plan was to make a size 18, 20, and 22 and see which one fit best and then tweak from there. The 18 was too small, the 22 was too large (it's used as a pj top), and by the time I returned to the pattern to sew the 20 I had enough experience to know I needed an 18 from the underarm up and a modified 20 from the underarm down.
I'm glad I have the fit issues conquered and now I can begin to use some of my nicer fabrics.
The pattern offers lots of options with regards to sleeves, from sleeveless to wrist length, and a wide range of sizes. I think for best results it is critical to use a lightweight/drapey fabric.
