Pattern Sizing:
I made my usual size 10 in Simplicity. It seemed a little snug in across the chest.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. I didn't really wrap my head around how this was constructed until I was well into the pattern. I was just following the directions which seemed well written and clear.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Love the neckband. Finishes really well. I think the bottom hem for didn't work for me. I like the idea another reviewer had of adding a band to this. I think a tidyer bottom and some weight would have made this top better and would have worked really well with the design because of the sleeve and neckband finishes. I didn't have enough material for a band.

Fabric Used: I used an end of bolt remnant of rayon single jersey.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I straightened the front hemline some. It dipped badly in the front on my and it made it look a little maternity.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes. I love an interesting knit to wear around. It suits my lifestyle well and still feels thought out and dressed.

	Aurelie said... Thanks everybody. I actually have worn it alot since I made it. I love the loose fit through the waist and hip. I've worn it with a navy knit open cardigan and love it that way. Interesting. Feels like a tshirt. 1/15/13 12:21 PM
