Pattern Description: Loose fitting pullover top, with front bib, collar, and 3/4 gathered sleeves
Pattern Sizing: XS-XL, I cut the Medium
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, very clear with photographs explaining the details.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that the pattern is a simple top with no closures. The pattern does not have you interface any pieces, but I did the bib & placket. If I was to do it again, I would also interface the collar. I also did not realize that the wrong side of the fabric would sometimes show at the neckline, so my interfaced side showed if I tried to fold the neckline back. This could be fixed with a doubled bib, or a fabric with no wrong side.
Fabric Used: Cotton Flannel
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added interfacing as mentioned above, and after trying it on, ended up pinching out a dart on either side of the placket to make more of a V-shaped neckline. With such a heavy fabric, and interfacing, it seemed a little stiff, and I didn't feel the collar and neckline was sitting correctly. This seemed to help the problem.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I plan to make a lighter weight version out of a nice cotton. I would definitely recommend it!
Conclusion: Overall a very quick and fun sewing experience. The directions were clear, and the pattern was well-drafted.
