xs - m, I made the trousers in the small size. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes both pairs of trousers are for weekend wear and not sleepwear. Take a closer look here. Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't used the instructions because I've made similar pants before but I had loaned out my pattern to a good friend. As most keen sewers, I found this new style in my pattern library and adapted it for my weekend needs. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love that these trousers have 1 side seam and an elastic waistband. Fabric Used:
Polyester snake print georgette. Here's the snake skin printed version.
I've also made these using an eyelet fabric. Here's the lined eyelet version. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I omitted the waistband and used the trouser top to form the waistband and used a 32mm wide elastic.
I've also omitted the front opening. I think the opening was designed for the men's version
I also adjusted the back crotch curve to suit my shape better. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes I would. This pattern would make comfy pjs as this is what this pattern was designed for.
I'm loving wearing these trousers in our summer heat because they're a cool fit and they are great at keeping the mozzies away.
These trousers have also been great for air travel too. |
Nice pants and perfect for the hot spell we have been having here in OZ.
