I've already made this pattern and reviewed it, and finally I've made it again, and also a hack! The last one was in cotton shirting, this one is in cotton sateen with some elastane. This has made it a generous fit, and comparing the photos I wonder if I ought to have cut it a little smaller!
However, it is still my favourite pattern and I love this one and the gorgeous fabric helps.
I made the same adjustments as last time - wider sleeve and a more flared skirt. Otherwise it is pretty much as it comes out of the envelope.
The hack you will see if you go check out my blogpost about it. I used the basic bodice pattern to make a tunic, without the button down front. It looks like a totally different garment but it isn't really. It did give me a lot of grief but that's not the pattern's fault!
did I mention how much I love this pattern?
