Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Definitely
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Burdas instructions are never very logical. I had made a muslin so made the dress in the order I thought was easier.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love this dress, the sleeves are so flattering and would work on lots of people.
Fabric Used:
Cotton Sateen from Mood
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
A lot, reduced the back by 2" lifted the waist so it sat properly, top stitched the collar, ignored the skirt peices and added a circle skirt instead and added must have pockets...deep ones!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would and will sew it again, its worth spending the time to make this pattern fit perfectly, such a great go to.
Conclusion:
Highly recommend, for the more experienced sewer.
