Pattern Description:
Misses & Plus Size pullover knit top in two lengths with sleeve variations. Pattern Sizing:
XXS to XXL. I made a small. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This pattern went together very quickly and is very comfortable to wear. Fabric Used:
I used a really soft and drapey rayon knit with a muted ikat print. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made a "smocked" waistband using elastic thread (really easy to do....I have the info on my blog ). And I applied interfacing to my knit prior to cutting the neckband out to help keep the shape. My knit is very drapey with little recovery. I also put attached the neckline to the wrong side of the top so I could topstitch from the outside. I have a picture of this on my blog. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I would make this again. I've had so many compliments. Conclusion:
Great for beginners too.
