Pattern Description:
A basic pencil skirt with a very high waist. Contains modifications to change waistband and skirt details.
Pattern Sizing:
Includes many sizes, traceable off sheet.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, although a beginner may wish for additional construction details. Some previous knowledge assumed, although much of the information necessary is in the rest of the book.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Great basic skirt. Beautiful shape on the waistband and I love that it has extra information about how to add vintage couture techniques and details.
Fabric Used:
Wool blend, woven.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Minor modifications to make it fit my body. Altered hip shape and lengthened front darts.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and Yes.
