Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
My jacket looks almost exactly like the pattern picture. The fabric is very similar to the one they used on the front of the pattern. I made view C with a decorative zipper.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Definitely, I didn't have any trouble making this.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I really liked the asymmetrical collar. I wasn't crazy about it being sort of boxy and loose, but that is how the pattern is suppose to be.
Fabric Used:
Cotton Blend Double Knit from Fabric Mart's retail store. (From about 6 months ago)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made the bodice a little smaller because it was a little too boxy for me. I also brought it in at the sleeves--I tend to have to do this to most any pattern.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes!
Conclusion:
Overall a really easy pattern! I would like to try it again in a smaller size.
I think the sizing was a problem on my part. (Not cutting out the right size?)
