Pattern Description: Girls' Top, Tunic, Belt, Pants and Kerchief.
Pattern Sizing: 2-8. I made the 8
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? absolutely
Were the instructions easy to follow? very easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I think the outfit looks like the model on the envelope.
Fabric Used: Pants and kerchief were soft chambray, and the tunic is a cotton with a stripe.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: no alterations. I didn't have elastic thread, so used 1/4" elastic for the sleeves and waistline of the tunic. Worked just fine. While trimming the pants ruffle, I accidentally cut a bit into the pant leg -- but I added a nice little lacy trim along the seam and also added the lace to the kerchief. Nobody will ever know. (except you folks)
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? It's a cute outfit, but I don't think you'd want 2 of them. My granddaughter loves clothes. This one is 1 of a kind.
Conclusion: The pieces went together very well, there were no darts, zips, buttons, facings. Pants are 2 pieces with elastic waist, and the tunic is front/back/sleeves and optional ruffle. Anyone could make this.
