Pattern Description:
Cowl neck sleeveless knit top Pattern Sizing:
8-18. Based on the finished bust size, I cut a size 10 - one size down from my regular size. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, this is a very simple top - you can't get too far off the path even without the directions. There are no facings, just turn under the edge and hem.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The drape of the cowl neck is just enough. The cut is simple yet flattering.
Fabric Used:
A sparkly polyester knit - so fun!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Even though I sized down, I still found the top a bit roomier than what I wanted; it was falling off my shoulders. I trimmed it down one size and then it fit perfectly. I should have taken into account the amount of stretch in my fabric - that might have led me to the smaller size I needed.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
yes, and yes! I can't wait to try some of the other views this summer.

Sometime simple projects can give you the most satisfaction. This blouse takes less than an hour to sew and 1 yd of fabric. I recommend making this top and then enjoy those feelings of sewing satisfaction ; )
