Pattern Description: Misses' Knit Sleepwear
Misses' knit loungewear includes nightgown and robe each in two lengths, banded neck tank top, yoga pants and drawstring pajama bag.
Pattern Sizing: XXS-XXL
I sewed view C, size 10
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, this is a really straightforward piece to sew.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I spend most of my days in pajamas, since I work from home, so I've always got my eye out for nice sleepwear patterns. I have had bad luck with unisex patterns, which seem err on the side of schlumpy. Everything in this pattern is designed to fit women but the styles are not overly twee or precious. I really like the circular neckband detail and could see working the same body pieces with the short sleeves. I also like the gathering at the neck. I have not tried any of the other views so I can't speak to any of those.
A shot of the back, which also has gathers.
Fabric Used: Organic cotton jersey found on ebay. I don't know who this super dog is, all over the fabric, but I think she (since I see no, um, external plumbing, in the front shots) is pretty darn cute. Two of my own super dogs sneaked their butts into my photoshoot.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I lengthened the body, just above the waist, by about an inch. No other changes made.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? If you like the style, I'd definitely recommend it. I may sew it again. It goes together quite quickly.
Conclusion: I'm a crazy dog lady, but I'm not quite at the point where I'll wear dog fabric, outside of the house. This was a perfect project for this adorable jersey. I recently finished some matching bottoms, that I'll be photographing and posting soon.

Cute and what a nice fit. Are you going to make any in this top pattern for "out of the house" wear?

@JTink, it's tempting, the fabric is really soft, but I feel like I might be a little too old to pull off superhero doggy fabric in public.

I'm a dog lady too! Don't think your crazy at all! Very cute pattern--really like your top!

LOL, I can understand about the doggy fabric, but I was looking at how well the style fit you and wondered if you would consider making some(not doggy) to wear outside the house.

Oh haha, JTink, that's a great idea. I might just do that. :)

This really is a well fitting top and looks like a great warm weather nightshirt. Of course I'm a dog lover too (check out my PR tag name for Pete's sake!!)
