Pattern Description:

This children's sewing pattern for a loose-fitting, pull-on smock dress or blouse features a one-piece V-notch yoke and button loop closure.

Pattern Sizing:

This fit perfectly. I've made view A twice, in sizes 2 and 5 and have plans to make view C (the top) for the spring.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

Yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow?

I found the instructions very easy to follow and full of great tips. I liked the instructions much more than those that come with your typical commercial pattern.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

I found the level of detail in the instructions to be just right. Everything was clear and easy to follow. There were extra tips for finicky details. I love Oliver + S patterns. She really knows her stuff.

Fabric Used:

I used quilting cotton for this dress. It worked very well.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

None! None were needed.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

I would definitely sew this again. It was quite quick to make, especially the second time. It's a big hit with both my daughters (I've made this twice) who say it is comfortable and love the fabric print (I let them choose). They get compliments on their dresses all the time.

Conclusion:

A perfect, quick summer dress.
