|. Misses' fitted blouses have bust and waist darts. View A has collar, full-length sleeves, cuffs with slits at outside edge, and tie closure at waist. View B has ruffle at neckline, three-quarter length sleeves with ruffles at bottom edge, and one button and loop closure at waist.|
I made a size m tapering to an L at the waist
It looked similar to the photo , I found the front gaped on me so I added a hook and eye but notice in the photo it is pulling across the bust.
The instructions were easy to follow, but I had problems with understanding how the facings went together, I have been away from sewing for 20 years and had real trouble ,I had them upside down , back to front and very which way before finally getting them right! It was a real EUREKA moment!
I liked the formal look of this blouse it was to wear to a wedding . View A will be nice for a more casual look.
I shortened the sleeves and added shoulder pads for my narrow shoulders.:I under lined the bodice.
I will make view A at some stage. I would recommend this pattern, to people who like ruffles and a formal look
This is my first garment in getting back in to sewing after 20 years, its far from perfect but overall i am happy with it. I tried on a very similar RTW blouse that was retailing for $360, so I have saved a heap of money! Gotta be happy with that!:
