Pattern Description: Vintage style dress with neckline options, sleeve variations, full gathered skirt and pockets.
Pattern Sizing:I made size 8.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Sure did!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy, and extremely well written. No complaints there!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? My only quibble was the amount of ease in the bodice/bust. I'd heard this was the case with the Project Runway patterns, and it certainly was true in this case. Next time I'll make a bodice muslin to make sure I get the sizing correct. Apart from that, it's a fabulous pattern.
Fabric Used:A Kaffe Fassett fabric called "Cabbages and Roses". I LOVE having a dress with cabbages on it!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Absolutely - I want to make up a whole bunch of these!
Conclusion: I am seriously in love with my cute cabbage dress! You can check it out more on my blog, Jorth!
