Pattern Description: This Vogue pattern is an Alice + Olivia design for tunics with sleeve, neckline, and hem variations. I made view A which has exposed seams, raglan sleeves and an asymmetrical hem.
Pattern Sizing: This is available in sizes xs-xxl... I made a large.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, with a few minor changes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, this was very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the exposed seams and asymmetrical hemline... I think these make the top unique. I also like the longer tunic length. No dislikes.
Fabric Used: I used a tie dye jersey print from Mood Fabrics. I spent $20.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I cut the back on the fold and omitted the ribbon detail. I also sewed the neck binding to the body with right sides together, flipped the seams to the inside and topstitched in place.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I may sew view B which has a cowl neck. I would recommend this to others.
Conclusion: This is a style I normally wouldn't gravitate to but I really like how it turned out. It's comfortable but still stylish.
I really like the fabric....fun top.
