Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the simple style of the coat and felt it worked well with the fabric.
Fabric Used: Marc Jacobs flocked wool floral plaid from Fabric Mart and a silk blend brocade fabric for the lining from B&J fabrics. lining
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made a muslin and did not like the fit of the sleeves. I was finally able to remove the drag lines from the sleeves by taking in the seem by 1/4 inch and also following the information found here:pattern correction raglan sleeves
I really wanted pockets and added pocket bags at one point but they did not work with the style of the coat.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, if I find the right fabric but I have so many other things I plan to make first.
Conclusion:
Very easy coat pattern.
