Pattern Description: An all-sizes pattern for a plain-t type top that can be made with variations in the neckline and sleeve length. I made View C Cowl Neck with View A Long Sleeves.

Pattern Sizing: 0-16. I made size 6.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Exactly the same!

Were the instructions easy to follow? No, but only as my version of the pattern had a mistake (blogged here). But once I realized that it was a mistake and not my being a bit dense, everything went swimmingly. This was my first Sewaholic experience and the lesson I've learnt for next time is to do my internet research before starting the project; also to supplement the instructions with any sewalong going.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
LIKES:
a) It fits very well.
b) It can be used time and time again with suggested variations as well as those I'll be making myself
c) It's a good introduction to sewing jersey. The cuffs and waistband add a professional, un-noticeable finish which is very encouraging for those of us who've made a hash of sewing jersey before.
DISLIKES:
The cuffs are a bit long. I shortened mine by 1.5cm. If you're on the short side you may wish to do the same (suggestions on blog)

Fabric Used: Striped jersey, possibly cotton but very heavy and easy to sew (doesn't curl)

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Cuffs (see above)

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes.

Conclusion: A great wardrobe builder. Do your research before attempting View C.
