Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?VERY easy to follow
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the different styles and options presented in the pattern.
Fabric Used:Black denim left over from when I attempted to make myself a pair of jeans plus a tie fabric that I had bought years ago
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I added a bit of length so that my daughter could wear this skirt to school and not show off her underwear
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I've sewn this pattern before (for cousins and a niece) and had it waiting in my pattern stash for my daughter to grow into. She loves how the skirt turned out, so I probably will be sewing it again. Given the various options of the pattern, I would HIGHLY recommend it to others.
Conclusion: This is what I'd call an all-purpose wardrobe building pattern. Can be made casual with the larger pockets, girly with floral fabric and inserts, or daily wear, which is what I think my version is, with denim and a nice little pop of contrast. Definitely an easy pattern to work with and one that my "princess in tomboy clothes" likes.
Very nice skirt - I like the black denim with the contrasting fabric.
