Pattern Description:
This pattern has lots of options for different pyjamand nightdresses (despite the fact the packaging says the items are not suitable for sleepwear!)
Pattern Sizing:
7 - 14 yrs
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Not bad! I didn't make many adjustments, other than to make it in a smaller width for my daughter as she is tall and skinny.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes - I am a beginner and this is only the second pattern I have used. I found the pictures and insturctions easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Very simple and classic pattern. As a very traditional girl, my daughter likes vintage style so this suited her perfectly. However, my daughter is a good height for her age (10) and it has turned out very long on her - right down to her ankles! Plenty of growing room, I guess.
Fabric Used:
A beautiful 100% floral cotton.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Yes, I traced out the pattern pieces to the width of a 7yr old but height of 10yr old.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I am planning on making the pyjamas for my other daughter.
Conclusion:
Overall, an easy pattern to follow. As a pretty much complete beginner, this nightdress took me approx 4-5 hours to complete.
