Pattern Description: Stylish, wide legged trousers with a curved waistband, rounded front pockets, an easy-to-sew fly front with a button or hook-and-eye closure and optional belt loops.
Pattern Sizing: I cut a 44 with adjustments
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes they are fine, lots of nice clear pictures
Fabric Used: Bengalene
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I used my pants block to adjust, so I added width, reduced the front rise and lengthened the back rise.
I added a pocket stay too, to stop my pockets gaping.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and Yes!
Conclusion: These sew up really easily and make a nice wide legged pair of pants. I've been having trouble with my waistbands stretching out so these pants have been interfaced, stay taped and faced with a non-stretch cotton!
They are quite a wide legged pant but I think the fitted waist/hips stop them looking too overwhelming. They are very comfortable to wear as well but still nice and dressy.
