Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Sort of - did some last minute changes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? No. They're Burda, but I rarely follow directions anyway so it doesn't really bother me too much.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?Well, I loved the look on the model - it looks like a stylish, trim fitting blouse.
Fabric Used:A polyester woven which may have rayon in it, too, because it is very soft, has a nice drape and launders well.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I disliked the little Peter Pan collar so I modified the neckline and incorporated the selvedge edge for some interest. I also cut the sleeves on the cross wise grain so I could utilize the selvedge for the sleeve hem.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Not sure if I would sew it again, but I would recommend it to others. It is a nice top.
Conclusion: I decided to take the Burda Challenge and make one garment from each edition of Burda magazine for the entire year. This is my first garment from Janaury edition. For more - cause you gotta love more - visit my blog
