Pattern Description: Pin Cushion/ Jewellery Stand

Pattern Sizing: When finished...10 & 1/2" tall...with out the candlestick base.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It did..although I added different trim to mine!

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes... it was very easy to follow the video tutorial www.the DIYdish.com (season 4, episode 1 )...which can also be found on youtube! You can download the free pattern.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the design of this pin cushion...it looks so girly & cute in my sewing room, but would also look great in the bedroom holding jewellery...in the photo, I have an ankle bracelet on mine!

Fabric Used: Cotton for quilting.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made a couple of changes...I quilted the fabric I was using, and I used different trim!

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes...and Yes! I will make these again...for gifts!

Conclusion: Quilting the fabric made it thicker so, it was a little tricky to sew the curved areas. I only had a crystal candle holder for the stand...I'm still looking for a black one!
