Pattern Description: Basic shift dress. Easy pull on.
Pattern Sizing: Very great sizing and the pattern ran a little larger than printed size.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? The dress looked exactly like the photo when I finished.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Extremely easy directions to follow and great starter pattern for those afraid to tackle Vogue Patterns.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I loved the ease of the garment and the great fit. I was slightly afraid that the dress wouldn't have a great shape but it was just the opposite.
Fabric Used: I used a beautiful red matte jersey the first time I made the dress and the second time I found a blue knit fabric that worked great as well.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The second time I made the dress I made the bottom of the dress slightly longer and tapered it in closer at the knee for a more pencil skirt feel to the dress.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
ABSOLUTELY!
Conclusion:
This is one FABULOUS go to pattern for a great wardrobe staple! I've paired this dress with a jacket and worn it to work as well as worn it out for date night!

You sold me on this pattern. You are so cute in this dress and look better than the model on the pattern envelope.
