I did make the pants, they were easy, but I didn't like them much. It's an elastic waist all around which looked like clown pants on me. To be fair, I made a poor fabric choice. I made them, along with the vest, in a rust-coloured cotton flannel, which I thought would be comfortable and versatile. They were, but I felt very dowdy in them. I was always reminded of Marge, the pregnant police chief in the movie Fargo.

I did have one failure with the top, where I chose an innapropriate fabric. Once I started sticking to fabrics with a LOT of drape I was sucessful. I think this top would be a real knockout in slinky knit.
