Pattern Description: A feminine apron with contrast trims & bows.
Pattern Sizing: One size
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It's a pretty apron and I used it to make a gift for my niece. There is only one main pattern piece, and then several strips to cut, so it's quick to make (~5hrs total, but that includes spending some time on the embellishment, you could easily reduce the time by 1 hr).
This pattern would be a good one to use for a reversible apron.
This pattern also pemitted me to develop a good method for applying biais binding tape in one step with no hand sewing.
Fabric Used: A cotton green & white"hippo" fabric from Ikea and purple biais from a huge roll my friend gave me.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None. I found the bib to be a bit narrow for my liking at the bust, I would add an extra 2cm on each side next time.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes.
Conclusion: A nice apron pattern. I like the pattern photo of the apron with the contrasting colours, next time I will try one like theirs.
