| I was participating in Amy @ Clothhabit's bra sew along. Sewing bras is not as hard as I thought it would be once you have your size figured out.
Pattern Description: Back Closure, diagonal seamed bra Side Back
Pattern Sizing: I made a 32C. I currently have a 32 wire in this.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Fairly easy. I didn't follow them exactly as I was making several bras from different patterns and I would follow the instructions that I liked the best for each step.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like how it fits. I honestly think the line drawing does not do this one justice.
Fabric Used: This is from a kit that I bought from Needle Nook Fabric sometime in the fall.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did have to add a little length to the band, but only about 1/4 inch. I made a couple of quick samples before I got it right.
When I make this again, I may add a little more to the outer cup part near my underarm. I also plan to make the back straight across, rather than having that part that curves down into the hook area, similar to KS 2101. This way is ok, but I would prefer to just attach the elastic to the back without having to deal with that curve. Where the elastic curves up is a huge stress point and I will probably have to sew it on there more securely. Also, I think the other way will look more finished on the inside.
I also fully lined the top and bottom cups per Anne @ Needle Nook Fabrics instructions. When you buy a bra kit from her, it comes with a little cutting guide and her instructions lead you to a fully lined cup, which I have determined I prefer.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I will and I would recommend it. I have my size down and am currently getting the fit worked out for my sister.
Conclusion: Lingerie making is addictive. This pattern is fantastic and I highly recommend the bra kits from Needle Nook Fabrics in Wichita, KS.

I like the curve that the straps make in the back, especially with the use of two colors.
