Pattern Description: beach wardrobe - pants/shorts, bikini top, cover top, and a knit tank. I just made the pant.
Pattern Sizing: I think I made a 12. Normally, I'm a 14, but based on this style with the drawstrings, I knew a 12 would be fine.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Back View (My husband gets a kick out of taking shots of my butt like that. When I checked the camera later, I was pleased to see that he at least got one of something I had sewn this time!)
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? These are the perfect beach pant...loose, breezy, comfortable.
Fabric Used: Some polyester stuff I picked up at Hancocks. You need something lightweight for this type of pant, and this stuff was almost see through.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:None. I did use my narrow hem foot to sew the hems around the legs. There is a lot of hem, and the foot made it relatively painless.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes.
Conclusion: Great beach pants. They were perfect to wear as a coverup. They're a little awkward to put on, but don't let that stop you because once on, they're perfect.
