Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Generally, yes it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were very easy overall. I didn't quite understand the neckline technique in which they use binding. I interfaced the wrong side of the neckline, turn it down once and used a zig zag stitch to secure.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love a banded sleeve. I also really like the different lengths of the bands in the front and back of the top. Elevates it a more upscale casual.
Fabric Used:
A baby blue wool sweater knit from Mood Fabrics. This would also work well in a sweatshirt fleece or a wool jersey in the winter. It would be awesome for summer in a tee shirt material or silk jersey.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I find the neckline too wide and the shoulders too wide. But, both are personal taste.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes. It's a wonderful basic top with good details for interest.
