Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Pretty much. The Ruffled Top
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were simple.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the front and back length variations. I'm not a ruffle girl, but I didn't mind this too much.
Fabric Used: Some mystery polyester blend that I purchased at Wal-Mart intending it to be muslin. But I liked it. There is a little sheen from some gold threads running through it.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: This top runs really big. I like it, but might take it in a bit in the front. Also, I selected the short sleeves and as someone else who reviewed this pointed out, they were way too busy. So I removed them and used double fold seam binding to finish the sleeves.
Would you sew it again? I'm not sure I would sew this again. I do like it a lot but it's pretty unique
Would you recommend it to others?definitely would recommend it to others. It's a cute addition to any wardrobe.
Conclusion: I think it's a pretty cute top and it was really easy to make.
The back view reminds me of this http://sewing.patternreview.com/SewingDiscussions/topic/75101/1 - the Michelle Obama top.
