Pattern Description:
Sheath skirt and overstitched pleat. Pattern Sizing:
44 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it absolutely did. I choose to leave the buttons off.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Marfy patterns do not come with instructions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked everything but the buttons so I left them off. Fabric Used:
Marc Jacobs lightweight silk brocade Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Just the buttons!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would highly recommend this to anybody who likes something a little different and wanted to try a Marfy. This pattern was so easy to work with, the notations and grainlines are marked and its a two piece pattern.
Conclusion:
This was a great pattern, I love that its a little different and the fabric worked so well. Its a simple make and I would highly recommend. Addtitional pattern info and photos at www.achallengingsew.typepad.com thanks!

I'd love to see a bigger photo of your skirts. Thanks for reviewing this pattern. I've been wondering how it would sew up. (never mind, I found your blog! Thanks!)
