Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, except for the changes mentioned below.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really like the figure shaping.
Fabric Used: A microsuede from Hancock that was labeled 100% Polyester Woven Suede that feels luscious but caused me considerable grief, as it was VERY difficult to sew (ie: skipped stitches). I finally had to resort to using a "Leather" needle to machine sew the buttonholes.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I sewed view D with the following changes: I moved the bust point up an inch, reduced the width of the shoulder seems and slightly increased the size of the armscyes. Shortened the sleeves (picture looks like they could be shortened a bit more, but are comfortable and feel "right"). I also used the Back pattern piece from Simplicity 2151 and modified it to work with this pattern, as I prefer the fit of the Simplicity back with it's vertical darts instead of the princess seams that are used on the back of this pattern. I did not do any top stitching due to my problems with skipped stitches, and the holes that were left when I had to rip out stitching. Oddly enough, I sewed the hem using my Babyloc coverstitch machine and had no problems with skipped stitches on the hem.
Back View using Simplicity 2151 Back
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This has become a TNT pattern and will definitely sew it again and do highly recommend it to others.
Conclusion: This view (D) is well drafted and comes together nicely.

looks real soft and pretty on you, I like how it fits. Microsuede can be difficult, any microfiber but I still love the softness and smooth fibers. Congratulations on your star :)
