I used some leftover Christmas fabric to make this bag, and lined it with red polka dotted fabric. It features an interior zipper with an easy insertion. The zipper instructions were very detailed. I still managed to get my zipper a little crooked though! I had to add a couple decorative buttons to hide my mistake.
My lining came out shorter than the handbag. I really need to make it again or read some reviews on this pattern, because I'm not sure if I messed up cutting or if the pattern is weird.
Despite all my blunders, it came out okay. I gave it to a friend as a gift. |
I think you bag is cute and love the fabric choices. Sometimes bag patterns will have the lining a bit shorter than the exterior so that it will hold the "weight" of your contents and not stretch the exterior.

Thanks! I haven't had much experience with bags.
