Pattern Description: Long sleeved tunic shirt with 4 buttons, stand-up collar, long sleeves
Pattern Sizing:38–46. I made a 40
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? yes, for once.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Easy to put together, fits just how I like
Fabric Used: An Anna Sui silk/cotton shirting that I bought at Fabric Mart for $2 A YARD!!!
Used vintage buttons I bought in a box of stuff from the 1950s
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I have some beautiful Italian floral fabric from Fabric Mart that I'll use next time
Conclusion: Love this shirt! Easy to make and I can wear it year-round. The fabric is so luxurious. The only complaint I have -and it's totally my own dumb fault - is that I used nude-colored silk organza for the interfacing in the placket. Unfortunately, the placket now has a sort of off-white color that looks bad...but not bad enough for me to shelve this shirt.
