I made this dress in a size 4. The finished garment is true to the photo on the pattern. The instructions were easy enough to follow, however I would replace the side zipper with an elastic band in back if I make it again. Kids like to dress themselves so I think it would get more wear if they can slip it over their heads.
It was a pretty quick project. I used a cotton blend with John Deere Tractors, paired with a yellow polka dot fabric. I shortened the hemline of the dress to make more of a top, then made matching ruffle pants.
I'm not sure if I'll use it again, since I'm not a fan of knot tie closures. But I'm hanging onto this pattern a little longer, just in case.
