Pattern Description: It's a pattern of a top/tunic with a yoke and a bit puffed sleeves
Pattern Sizing: I downloaded the size 8, printed it out exactly by instructions and even measured the little square that has to be 1''x1'' and it was exactly the right size, and still, the size 8 is huge. It should fit a 12, or maybe even more then that. Maybe this is a mess up only in the downloadable pattern, I don't know.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I didn't actually sew it as it was so huge that it didn't seem reasonable to waste time on trying to make it fit.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The top is a simple one, instructions are ok.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I hate it that they say size 8, and then you find out it's really a 12 at best.
Fabric Used:
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Again, there was no point trying to sew something so big, so if you get this one, beware of sizing, especially in the downloadable version.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Having a closer look at the pattern, I can see that I wouldn't want to sew it even if the size was right. The yoke is ok, but below the yoke, the top is shapeless. It's something that would look good on someone pregnant in the seventies. Like wearing a big big potato bag with yoke and sleeves. Even for someone who has a tummy to hide, I think this top would just make it look bigger.
Conclusion: Not recommended and sizing is completely off in the downloadable version, probably in the paper one too.

Sorry it wasn't right for you. In my experience NL patterns tend to run big. 3 sizes too big in my hip area - and my hips are not small!
