Pattern Description:
Loose-fitting, pullover tunic, has collar or hood, shaped hemline, narrow hem and snap closing. Top-stitiching. Wrong side shows on hemline and hood.
Pattern Sizing:
I bought the XS, S, M and cut a medium which seemed quite large.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes Were the instructions easy to follow?
yes What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
beware that if you 5' 4" or under then you will need to shorten the length of this top. If you look at the girl modelling this for Vogue the back come just below her bottom, whereas mine almost falls to the back of my knees, so will be shortening this by around 3" back and front in the morning.
Fabric Used:
some cream fine knit from my stash.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did reduce the sleeve length by around 3" and even after putting a 5/8" hem on them, they are still quite long.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Hmm I am not sure. Its not my typical style, I'll have to see how I feel about this in the morning after I shorten it.
Conclusion:
A nice easy trendy tunic that makes up really quickly, but unless you are 5' 8"+ be prepared to shorten it.

This turned out great. I agree that taking a bit off of the length will be more flattering on you but it doesn't look bad at all. I like your choice of fabric for this pattern.

I think it's adorable and ultra slenderizing! I like the sheerness of it, too. Great job!

I've been thinking about this one and from your experience it might be good for tall DD -13 years already 5'8." I like it in the thin knit that's great for layering.

Looks wonderful! Love the fine fabric!

Ah, if only we could all be 5' 8" and over, eh? Lovely top, but certainly designed for a taller frame.

This is very cute on you. I have everything to create this for myself but other things just keep vying for my attention. Your top makes me want to push this to the top of the pile. Well done!
