Pattern Description: Easy 2 hour knit dolman sleeve tops
Pattern Sizing: Size 10-22 - I made View A in a size 10
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the sleeves; no dislikes
Fabric Used: A very soft rayon blend knit from Joann Fabrics in a dark charcoal color.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: This is the second time I've sewn this. I did change the neckline slightly so it wasn't so wide and so it didn't show my bra straps. My first one kept feeling like it was falling off my shoulders.
I made a size 10 for the shoulders and graduating out to a size 16 for the hips and for the length of the sleeves.
The waist seemed to hit me quite high so I actually lengthened the pattern about 1 inch at the waist.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I probably will sew it again. If you want an easy, quick t-shirt that goes well with jeans or dress it up with a skirt, I highly recommend this pattern.
Conclusion: This is my new favorite, quick easy peezy top!
